Businessman beaten to death over property dispute in Jaipur

A well-known businessman in Jaipur was allegedly beaten to death and three others were injured by a group of miscreants hired by a property dealer over a land dispute in Arjun Nagar area here today.
Kamal Katta (62) was killed today morning, Jawahar Circle police station SHO Rohitashv Devanda said.
Eighteen attackers including one Bhorelal Saini were arrested this morning under various sections of IPC including 302, he said.
The attackers pelted stones at the Katta family and hit them with lathis when it was dark, he said, adding that four members were injured and taken to hospital.
Kamal Katta succumbed to injuries in the hospital, the officer said.

The body has been sent for postmortem, he said, adding probe was still on in the case.
Katta family is known to run various kinds of business including a local channel.
