Three persons armed with pistols and other weapons came to the house of brick kiln and grocery shops owner Ramesh Agarwal around 6.30 pm and forcibly took him away, sources said.
The abductors escaped with Agarwal under the cover of darkness, they said.
A search operation has been launched for his rescue and investigations are on.
