Two assailants stormed into a wholesale grocery shop at Chowkbazaar area this morning and gunned down its owner.
Locals caught one of the assailants and handed him over to the police but the other managed to escape.
The police recovered a pistol from the assailant but the motive behind the killing was yet to be ascertained.
