Businessmen robbed at gun point

Two goldsmiths were allegedly looted of cash and jewellery worth Rs 11 lakh by a gang of robbers at gun point near Baldeo town here.
The incident took place last night when Anil and Rajendra, two brothers, were attacked by four pistol wielding men at the local Gudhenia street, police said today.
The miscreants opened fire when the duo resisted loot attempt, injuring Rajendra, they said.
Robbers fled with two bags containing cash Rs three lakh and fifty thousand and ornaments worth over eight lakh, the duo informed police in their complaint.
Two teams have been pressed into action. The bandits have been identified and we hope to solve the loot incident of Baldeo town shortly, Senior Superintendent of Police R K S Rathore said.
Investigation is on in the matter, Rathore said.
