Three of the limited edition Chateau Margaux 2009 Balthazars are available for wine connoisseurs and buyers will be flown first-class to France to visit the Chateau Margaux estate, media reports said.
Only six Balthazars, which are 12-litre bottles, have been produced, and three have been offered for sale in the Dubai outlet, an Arabia Business report said.
The 12-litre bottles were produced by the 400-year-old Chateau Margaux vineyard in the Bordeaux region of France and have gone on display at the Le Clos wine store at the Dubai International Airport.
"To mark this fantastic vintage, we are delighted to create a unique opportunity by partnering with Le Clos to offer three Balthazars to the world's most discerning wine buyers, Paul Pontellier, chief winemaker and managing director of Chateau Margaux said in a statement issued by Le Clos.
Chateau Margaux's history stretches back over 400 years, during which the estate has produced some of the world's best wines time and again.
