BVP's LS candidate arrested for misbehaving with woman cop
Press Trust of India New Delhi Brij Vikas Party candidate from Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha constituency, Sanjay Gandhi has been arrested for allegedly outraging the modesty of a traffic woman constable in North East Delhi, police said tonight.
According to police, Gandhi, a resident of Model Town in North East Delhi, was arrested this evening on the complaint of woman traffic constable for obstructing and misbehaving with her while she was on duty.
"Gandhi outraged her modesty including tearing her uniform. He has been arrested in the case and further investigation is under progress," police said.
The incident took place this evening during a vehicle checking drive in Model Town area.
Gandhi had a heated argument with the police official when his vehicle was stopped for checking. He even tried to outrage her modesty, a police official said.
