C&C Constructions narrows loss to Rs 35 crore in Mar quarter

C&C Constructions Ltd today said its consolidated loss narrowed to Rs 35.25 for the quarter ended March 31, 2014.
The company's loss from ordinary activities after tax was at Rs 96.93 crore in the same quarter over a year ago, the company said in a filing to BSE.
The company's consolidated income from operations, however, increased to Rs 354.61 crore in March 2014 quarter from Rs 261.85 crore a year ago, it said.
The company said that its "previous period figures have been regrouped/rearranged, reclassified wherever considered necessary to conform to the classification adopted in the current quarter/nine month as applicable."

Shares of the company closed at Rs 31.55 apiece on BSE, up 4.99 per cent from their previous close.
