"In a joint operation, the ACB and the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of police conducted raids at the residences of nine officials, including three IFS officials SSD Badgaiya, Divisional Forest Officer (Baloda Bazar), A H Kapasi, Divisional Forest Officer (Raipur) and K K Bisen, Director of Nandanvan Zoo and Safari and DFO (Raipur)," Additional Director General (ACB) Mukesh Gupta told PTI.
"When a search was conducted based on the complaint, these officials were found in possession of assets disproportionate to their known sources of income. A case has been registered against them in this regard," he said.
Eighteen teams of ACB and EOW conducted simultaneous raids at the residences of these officials located in Raipur, Bilaspur, Dhamtari and Mungeli. District police, women's police team, total 34 gazetted officers were roped in for the task.
The senior officer said that in the search conducted so far at Badgaiya's residences, documents pertaining to three houses in Bilaspur, one property in Raipur and 18 other properties worth several crores, were recovered, besides a vehicle and gold jewellery.

Bisen owns a Rs 80-crore worth bungalow in Raipur, the officer said, adding that they also recovered 506 gram gold jewellery and several bank documents, he said.
Gupta said that two properties worth Rs 60 lakh, a flat worth Rs 13 lakh, land and bank certificates and Rs 24 lakh bank deposits, all belonging to Chief Medical Officer, Mungeli S K Baghel were found.
