C'garh CM to meet MAIT and electronic companies tomorrow

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh will tomorrow meet the Manufacturing Association for Information Technology (MAIT) to give a thrust to the expansion of IT in the state.
"The meeting of governing council of MAIT will be held tomorrow at 10.30 AM in the capital city. State government's Chhattisgarh Infotech and Biotech Promotion Society (CHiPS) will also participate in the programme," an official informed today.
Singh will preside over this meeting, and he will brief about the state government's new IT Policy and regarding the ongoing projects to promote IT in state.
During the interaction Singh will throw light on the scope of investment in IT-sector of Chhattisgarh, the official said.

MAIT has been constituted for manufacturing electronic products in the country.
LG, Dell, Essar, Samsung, Toshiba, Vancue, Micromax, INTEX, Casio and other major companies are members of this association, he added.
