The decision about it was taken at a review meeting of science and technology department, chaired by Chief Minister Raman Singh at his official residence last night, the official said here.
The move will help the officers in making and monitoring of development projects through modern technology, he said, adding that it is likely to be held next month.
During the meeting, Singh directed the officials concerned to begin preparation for the training, to be conducted at the Chhattisgarh Administrative Academy located on city outskirts, he said.
The ground situation of the canals and stop dams under irrigation schemes can be easily mapped through space technology for its repairing works, Singh said.

He also directed them to observe the ground water situation through remote sensing geo satellite technology in the areas like Rajnandgaon, Mungeli and Bemetra, where drought-like situation was observed.
Meanwhile, Singh also reviewed the works under revenue department.
State revenue minister Premprakash Pandey, chief secretary Vivek Dhand and other officials were also present in the meeting.
