The three day yoga camp which concluded today at Jayanti stadium of Bhilai city was organised to celebrate National Youth Day.
"Five World Records were created at the Yoga event in Surya Namaskar, Kapaalbhati, Anulom-Vilom, Push-ups and Sheershashan," an official statement issued here said.
While Rohtas Chowdhary performed 1,000 push-ups in 19 minutes 20 seconds and 12 mini-seconds, Jaipal did 'Sheershashan' for 2 hours 20 minutes without any break, it claimed.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Raman Singh who also performed yoga at the camp held in the morning,announced to set up a 'Yoga Ayog' (yoga commission) to promote yoga in the state.

"The yoga commission will help in spreading awareness regarding yoga right from gram panchayat level to various parts of schools," he added.
Yoga brings stability in the life of an individual and is at peace with himself. Practicing the art helps in increasing the memory of the concerned person. It is a panacea for all the ills ailing the human body, he said.
Singh also welcomed the plans of setting up Patanjali food processing plant in the state and assured Ramdev that state will provide all help in the process, the release said.
