Cab driver held for killing fiance

A 25-year-old cab driver was arrested today for allegedly killing his fiance, Cyberabad police said.
According to C Shankar Reddy, Jeedimetla Police Inspector, the accused Krishnaiah allegedly killed 19-year- old Sowmya, by punching her on chest and dumped the body in a lake after packing it in a bag at HMT area.
Later he surrendered before the police, he police.
"They both were in love with each other. Of late the accused started suspecting that she was moving close to another man. On the pretext of talking to her, Kishnaiah took her to an isolated place in his cab yesterday.

"Altercation broke out between them and in the fit of rage he punched her on chest. The blow killed her instantaneously," the police official said.
The cab driver surrendered before police this morning.
