Over a week after it resumed, the cable car service to the Lord Muruga hill shrine here was stopped again following a technical problem in the motor coil of the car, officials said today.
The cable car service was stopped here yesterday.
The motor has been taken to Erode for repair, they said, adding once the problem is rectified, the service will resume, officials said.
The service had resumed only on August 20 some three months after the rescue of 23 pilgrims who were stranded in mid air for four hours in a cable car due to a snag.
