Polling for the LADC election and the civic polls would be held on Thursday, November 26, officials of the state election commission, said.
74 candidates were contesting the 25 seats in the LADC with both the ruling Congress and the main opposition party, the Mizo National Front (MNF), contesting all the seats and the BJP contesting 11 seats.
The rest of the candidates were from the Zoram Nationalist party (ZNP), Mizoram People's Conference (MPC) and independents.
In the AMC polls, 55 candidates were in the fray with the MNF, which went alone, contesting all the 19 seats, followed by the Congress (14) and the MPC (5).
Most of the seats in the Aizawl civic polls would be triangular contests with straight fights in few wards between the Congress and the MNF.
