The AMU Teachers' Association (AMUTA) held a meeting yesterday to pass a resolution condemning the clash and sought immediate action against the guilty students.
Alleging that no steps were taken despite named FIRs being lodged against the culprits involved, teachers said this led to the worsening of situation in the campus.
AMUTA secretary Mustafa Zaidi said that if the Proctor failed to take action against the guilty, teachers would boycott invigilation and other exam related duties.
The teachers have given the authorities time up to 5 pm tomorrow after which they would chalk out their further course of action.
