"As I said, I haven't thought beyond him and the character was written keeping him in mind. We never approached anyone else, contrary to what some news reports say," Shobu Yaralagadda told PTI.
Asked to compare Baahubali with the 1975 iconic Hindi movie Sholay, he said both movies are similar in that the directors had a vision beyond the confines of what was achieved till that date in Indian cinema.
Asked if he is sad that he would not be making Baahubali-3, Yaralagadda said: "Really not thinking of Baahubali 3."
But the team is doing many things around the cinematic character like animated series, TV series, games and other things, he said.

He said the team was very sure that Baahubali 2 would do better than the first part due the emotional content in the movie and the resolutions left open in the first film.
Asked about the character he liked the most in the films, he said his choice would be Amarendra Baahubali.
Asked if there were any plans to make an epic on real-life stories or reel-real life stories like Lage Raho Munna Bhai, he said if the story is good and excites his team, they are open for it.
