Canara Robeco India Opportunities Fund to invest in equity

Private sector mutual fund house Canara Robeco Asset Management Company has launched a fund which will invest predominantly in equity and equity-related instruments of mid-cap companies.
The Canara Robeco India Opportunities Fund, which opened today, is set to close on 28 November.
Canara Robeco India Opportunities Fund is a close-ended equity scheme and the performance of the scheme would be benchmarked against the CNX Midcap Index.
Ravi Gopalakrishnan is the fund manager for the scheme, who would also manage the debt portion of the scheme.
"This fund is focussed on high conviction stocks by following the growth at reasonable price investing philosophy. It is best suited for those having a three-year investment horizon to reap benefits from the full realisation of the current high growth prospects of Indian companies," Canara Robeco Asset Management's Head of Equities, Ravi Gopalakrishnan said.
