Capri Global Housing gets nod to start home finance biz

Capri Global Housing Finance, a subsidiary of Capri Global Capital, today said it has received National Housing Bank's approval for launching home financing services in India.
"Capri Global Capital Ltd's (CGCL)...Announced the receipt of certificate of registration from National Housing Bank (NHB) to launch its housing finance business. Capri Global would foray into the Housing Finance Business in India through its subsidiary," CGCL said in a release.
The government has set a target to provide housing to all by the year 2022.
"The vision will only be met by focusing on improving the prospects of affordable housing sector. Capri Global...Would focus on the affordable housing sector across the markets of presence.

"It will provide assistance to the customers in the Lower Income and Middle income group in realising their dreams of owning a house," it added.
The company will commence operations from early next year.
