Car-manufacturing company's employees robbed in G Noida

Eight employees of a car-manufacturing company were allegedly robbed of cash and other valuables in the Rabupura area today while they were coming for work from Jewar town in an office cab, police said.
The incident happened in the wee hours today when the cab of Honda company was bringing eight employees from Jewar town to its factory here via Yamuna Expressway, they said.
The driver found the route near the Rustampur service road on the expressway blocked by stones, they said.
As the cab stopped, three armed men came out from bushes nearby and overpowered the cab driver and employees.
They then robbed them of their cash, mobile phone, watch and other valuables.
According to police, the victims were beaten up when they tried to resist the robbery.
Some of the victims have been identified as Jitender Tyagi, Raghuraj Singh, Sandeep Sharma, Banwari, Salim, Sanjiv and driver Vijay.
A complaint has been registered at the Rabupura police station and a manhunt has been launched to trace the robbers, police said.
