Press Trust of India New Delhi In futures trading, cardamom prices surged further by 3 per cent to Rs 1,385.40 per kg today as speculators enlarged positions, taking positive cues from spot market on rising domestic as well as exports demand.
Besides, tight stocks position on fall in supplies from producing regions fuelled the uptrend.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in January month shot up by Rs 40.30, or 3.00 per cent to Rs 1385.40 per kg in business turnover of 75 lots.
