At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in February declined by Rs 4.70, or 0.30 per cent, to Rs 1,549 per kg, in a business turnover of six lots.
The spice for delivery in far-month March was down by Rs 2.10, or 0.13 per cent, to Rs 1,520 per kg with a trading volume of 31 lots.
Analysts said offloading of positions by participants owing to a weak trend at spot market on subdued demand mainly put pressure on cardamom prices at futures trade.
