At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in far-month May declined by Rs 14.50 or 1.04 per cent to Rs 1,375.10 per kg in a business turnover of just 7 lots.
The spice for delivery in April was down by Rs 6 or 0.43 per cent to Rs 1,379.50 per kg with a trading volume of 83 lots.
Marketmen said offloading of positions by participants owing to a weak trend at spot market on subdued demand mainly put pressure on cardamom prices at futures trade.
