Cardamom futures gain 1.07% on rising demand

Cardamom prices went up by 1.07 per cent to Rs 1,099 per kg in futures trade today as participants enlarged their positions, driven by pick up in demand in the spot market.
At Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in rose by Rs 11.60, or 1.07 per cent to Rs 1,099 per kg in business turnover of 2 lots.
Analysts said widening of positions by traders on the back of surging demand in the spot market against restricted arrivals from producing regions, mainly influenced cardamom prices at futures trade.
