Cardamom prices moved up by 1.24% to Rs 1,142.60 per kg in futures trade today as speculators indulged in creating fresh positions amid pick-up in domestic as well as export demand.

Besides, tight stocks position in the physical market on restricted supplies from producing belts supported the upside.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in March rose by Rs 14, or 1.24%, to Rs 1,142.60 per kg in a business turnover of 136 lots.
