Cardamom prices went up by 0.27 per cent to Rs 1,039 per kg in futures market today as speculators enlarged positions amid rising demand in the spot market.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in November edged up by Rs 2.80, or 0.27 per cent to Rs 1,039 per kg in business turnover of 4 lots.
Analysts said widening of positions by participants owing to rising demand in the physical market, mainly kept cardamom prices higher at futures trade.
