At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in June rose by Rs 7.30, or 0.88 per cent, to Rs 827.80 per kg, in a business turnover of 119 lots.
Similarly, spice for delivery in July gained Rs 3.40, or 0.39 per cent, to Rs 861 per kg in 32 lots.
Market analysts said besides rise in demand in the spot market, tight supplies from producing regions mainly helped cardamom prices to trade higher at futures trade.
