At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in April rose by Rs 5.60 or 0.82 per cent to Rs 686.40 per kg in a business turnover of 243 lots.
Similarly, spice for delivery in March gained Rs 4.30 or 0.65 per cent to Rs 657.40 per kg in 4 lots.
Market analysts said besides rise in demand in the spot market, tight supplies from producing regions mainly helped cardamom prices to trade higher at futures trade.
