Hyderabad-based CARE Hospitals Group has signed agreements with KIMS Hospital, Bilaspur and RIMS, Raigarh to manage both these facilities as part of the CARE network on an operations & management (O&M) contract.
These additions will take the group's strength to 15 hospitals across south and central India with a total capacity of over 2,000 beds, CARE Hospitals said in a statement.
KIMS and RIMS are multi-speciality hospitals of 200-bed and 150-bed capacity, respectively.
With these facilities, CARE would now have four hospitals in Chhattisgarh and would be the largest network in the state.
CARE Hospitals has entered into both O&M agreements through its Raipur-based subsidiary Ramkrishna CARE.
"The O&M model has the advantage of faster ramp-up of capacity and quicker expansion of footprint. It is a win-win for both partners as the added hospitals benefit from the brand, clinical and managerial talent, processes as well as economies of procurement of the parent network," said Dilip Jose, Group CEO of CARE Hospitals.
"Bilaspur and Raigarh hospitals would leverage the infrastructure and clinical talent of the hub facility of Ramkrishna CARE at Raipur and expand its reach to larger geographies," he added.
