"Ketto approached us and said we would like to work with you and raise funds for your cancer patients who cannot afford treatment. So, we are in the process of partnering with Ketto. It will be a very big campaign, and I don't think any other firm has done this ever previously in India," she told PTI here.
She said the firm was looking at raising Rs. 15 to 16 lakh through crowdfunding to provide therapies under "Carer Program" to 30 patients for 30 days.
She expects to kickstart the campaign by next month as soon the firm gets 30 patients on board.
She said she believes in personal touch in providing treatment to patients, and hence the firm has a cap on the number of patients to be treated.
Mahindra also has another year-on-year programme up her sleeves to provide therapies under "Carer Program" by tying up with one of India's biggest foundations which works closely with Tata Memorial Hospital.
