Carey's Hollywood Walk of Fame star vandalised, repaired

Singer Mariah Carey's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame has been sabotaged.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce said that the 46-year-old songstress' star was vandalised on Monday night, reported E! online.
The officials confirmed that the perpetrator drew a question mark at the end of the "Always Be My Baby" singer's name with what appears to be an ink marker or pen.
This act of vandalism may be in response to Carey's wobbly performance on the New Year's eve, when the singer's musical play was hit by a technical glitch.
As of Tuesday morning, the star has been fixed. The process has cost nearly USD 1,500.

The search for the culprit is on by the Los Angeles Police Department, as the state treats vandalism as a felony.
