Cargo services at international air terminal affected

Cargo services at the international air terminal here were affected today after over 350 employees of a private firm staged a protest pressing for various demands.
The employees, working as contract labourers in the firm which handles cargo at the air terminus, began their protest inside the campus this afternoon, airport sources said.
Their demands include a hike in pay.
The stir affected cargo services in outbound flights to Dubai, Malaysia, Singapore and Maldives, the sources added.
