The chain, which currently runs 73 operational hotels and has 37 hotels in various stages of development under brands Radisson Blu, Radisson, Park Plaza, Park Inn by Radisson and Country Inns & Suites By Carlson in India, will focus mostly on mid-scale hotels under management contract.
"We will be having over 50 operational Park Inn by Radisson hotels by 2024. Of these, 5 hotels will be operational by the end of this year," Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group South Asia Chief Executive Officer Raj Rana told PTI.
"While for North and Central India we have a partnership with the Bestech Group for Park Inn hotels. For South and other parts of India we are looking at different strategic partners. We also plan at growing organically," Rana said.
The company plans to open hotels across the brands that it has in India but the focus will be mainly on the mid-scale segment saying it has huge demand and significant potential.

On being asked about the probable locations for these hotels, Rana said: They would be in secondary and tertiary cities, tourist and religious destinations, state capitals and outskirts of metros."
The hospitality major is also looking at introducing its luxury brand Quorvus Collection and upscale brand Radisson Red in India.
When asked about the investments and business model the company will follow for expansion in India, Rana said: "While most of the hotels will be under the management contract model, we are also open to selective franchising."
