Actor Carrie Coon has been added to cast of second season of the show "The Sinner".
The 37-year-old actor, who recently voiced Proxima Midnight in Marvel's "Avengers: Infinity War", will play Vera, a formidable, mysterious woman who struggles between upholding the ideals of the community she leads and fulfilling her own desires.
"Luke Cage" star Natalie Paul and Hannah Gross have joined the cast of the second season, the USA network said in a statement.
Paul will play Heather, a detective in training from Det. Harry Ambrose's hometown, while Gross, best known for Netflix's "Mindhunter", Marin, Heather's high school best friend who disappeared from town years ago in a cloud of mystery.
Actor Jessica Biel, who played the role of Cora Tannetti in season one, will executive produce the show alongside her producing partner Michelle Purple.
The second installment of "The Sinner" will premiere on USA Network in August.
