"We have written to the medical superintendent of GMC with a request to provide detailed list of staff on duty and the CCTV footage of that day," police sub-inspector Harish Raut-Desai told a local court today.
The Goa Children's Court had issued a notice to the police seeking details of the investigation.
The girl, who was injured after being hit by a car allegedly driven by Remo's son, was admitted to ward number 105 of GMC. According to her, Remo, when he visited her in the hospital, threatened her using abusive language.
Police also recorded statement of a patient who was on the bed next to the victim girl at the time of the incident, Desai said.
The Goa state commission for protection of child rights had also sought a detailed investigation report byDecember 31.
Desai also assured the court today that there was no "political interference" in the investigation.
