Cashew prices rose by Rs 10 per kg in the national capital today on increased buying by retailers and stockists on higher demand from bulk consumers.
Further, tight stocks following fall in supplies from growing regions also supported the uptrend.
Cashew kernel No 180, 210, 240 and 320 rose by Rs 10 each to settle at Rs 900-925, Rs 825-850, Rs 700-725 and Rs 660-675 per kg, respectively.
Marketmen said increased buying by retailers and stockists against restricted supplies from growing belts, mainly pushed up cashew prices.
