Castorseed futures plunge 6 per cent, hits lower circuit
Press Trust of India New Delhi Castorseed prices tumbled 6 per cent to hit lower limit at Rs 3,051 per quintal in future trading today as participants indulged in cutting down their bets amid weak trend at the spot markets.
At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, castorseed for delivery in February month contracts dipped by Rs 194 or 6 per cent to hit the lower limit at Rs 3,051 per quintal, with an open interest of 2,85,190 lots.
Also, castorseed for March contract dropped by Rs 196, or 6 per cent to freeze at Rs 3,082 per quintal in an open interest of 1,03,390 lots.

Moreover, low export enquiries weighed on the prices, they added.
