Council of Academies of Engineering and Technological Sciences (CATES) Convocation, a two-day event starting tomorrow, that will see brain storming sessions by engineers on energy, health and transport.
CATES, being hosted by its country chapter, The Indian National Association of Engineers, will see sessions by scientists like Anil Kokodkar, former chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission, and R Chidambaram, Principal Scientific Adviser to the Prime Minister.
Nearly 70 delegates from different countries will participate in the two-day event. It will also see discussions on clean energy means like wind and solar energy, fast breeder nuclear reactors.
After the two-day session, a set of recommendations will also be submitted to government and partner countries about the solutions sought from the brain-storming sessions.
