Caustic soda declines on reduced demand

Caustic soda prices were down by Rs 50 per 50 kg in the national capital today on reduced offtake by consuming industries against increased arrivals from producing regions.
Caustic soda flake fell by Rs 50 to Rs 1,700-1,800 per 50 kg.
Marketmen said subdued demand from consuming industries against increased arrivals from producing regions mainly pulled down caustic soda prices at the wholesale chemical market here.

Ammonium chloride (50 kg) Rs 2,000-3,000, Acetic acid (1kg) Rs 53-57, Ammonia bicarb (25 kg) Rs 600-700, Boric acid technical (50 kg) Rs 4,500-5,300, Borex granular (50 kg) Rs 2,200-2,500.
Caustic soda flake (50 kg) Rs 1,700-1,800, Citric acid (50 kg) (China) Rs 3,450-3,650, Citric acid deshi (50 kg) Rs 3,800-4,000, Camphor slab (1 kg) Rs 365, Camphor powder (1kg) Rs 330, Glycerin (1 kg) Rs 140-160, Hexamine (1kg) Rs 94, Hydrogen peroxide (1 kg) Rs 36-50, menthol bold crystal (per kg) Rs 1,070, menthol flake (1 kg) Rs 1,060 and mentha oil (1kg) Rs 1,090.
