Caustic soda falls on reduced offtake

Caustic soda prices fell by Rs 50 per 50 kg in the national capital today as demand from consuming industries dried up.
Furthermore, increased arrivals from producing regions weighed on prices.
Caustic soda flake fell by Rs 50 to Rs 1,800-1,900 per 50 kg.
Marketmen said easing demand from consuming industries against increased arrivals from producing regions mainly pulled down caustic soda prices at the wholesale chemical market here.

Ammonium chloride (50 kg) Rs 2,000-3,000, Acetic acid (1kg) Rs 53-57, Ammonia bicarb (25 kg) Rs 600-700, Boric acid technical (50 kg) Rs 4,500-5,200, Borex granular (50 kg) Rs 2,200-2,500.
Caustic soda flake (50 kg) Rs 1,800-1,900, Citric acid (50 kg) (China) Rs 3,600-3,800, Citric acid deshi (50 kg) Rs 3,800-4,000, Camphor slab (1 kg) Rs 360, Camphor powder (1kg) Rs 325, Glycerin (1 kg) Rs 140-160, Hexamine (1kg) Rs 95, Hydrogen peroxide (1 kg) Rs 36-50, menthol bold crystal (per kg) Rs 1,120, menthol flake (1 kg) Rs 1,110 and mentha oil (1kg) Rs 1,140.
