Rejecting the supplementary chargesheet of CBI, filed after excluding the names of the IPS officers -- ADGP Mohammed Yasin and DIG Vijay Sakre, Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) E C Harigovind said he was not satisified with the probe against the two officials.
The CJM said the probe by the CBI was 'incomplete' and it was not satisfied with the investigations against Yasin and Sakre and said their role should be investigated in detail.
Sampath and two of his accomplices had been arrested from Coimbatore after the murder of a housewife in Palakkad in March, 2010. Sampath died on March 29 while in police custody.
The court pointed out that Yasin had summoned Satish, former Thiruvananthapuram Collector and brother of the murdered woman at least eight times. But this was not investigated by CBI.
