CBI sources said two alleged sacmsters--one coaching center owner Raju Singh Malik, alias Rajeev, and Vikram Parmar, a final year B.Tech student--allegedly launched a fake CBI website www.Cbirecindia.Com to advertise the jobs ranging from sweeper to inspector in the agency.
The sources said the duo created a website, identical to government websites with CBI logo, to give autheticity to their portal through which they allegedly advertised the posts of inspector, sub-inspector, photographers, head constables, constables, financial advisors, assistant sub-inspectors, photographers, cook, tailor etc.
In the fake advertisement posted on the website, the duo demanded minimum application fee Rs 250 for sweeper's job while the highest was for the inspector Rs 1,500 for filing the application and asked the applicants to deposit it in the bank account "Matrix" of IDBI Bank.
It came to light that a large number of persons submitted the fee in the designated account which was withdrawn by the accused.

They said searches were conducted today at Ahmedabad which resulted in the recovery of several documents including digital evidence linking them with the hosting of the fake website and receipt of money from the job aspirants.
