CBSE governing body meets

The Governing body of the CBSE met today and discussed various issued related to the functioning of the board.
Sources said that issues related to examinations, evaluation and other matters were discussed in the meeting.
"The number of students who apply for re-evaluation of answer sheets especially for class XII has constantly been on the rise. The CBSE is examining how it needs to look at such issues. Other boards do not have such a comprehensive re-evaluation system," a senior official said.
Several other issued were discussed and decisions will be notified after due process, an official said.
