The conference, scheduled to be held on March 2-3, 2017, is part of the watchdog's larger efforts to evolve a better understanding about issues that are relevant to the domestic economy in the context of competition law.
The objective of this conference is to "bring together scholars from across the country and stimulate research and debate on contemporary issues in the field of the economics of competition law," according to a CCI communication.
The conference would target scholars with a keen interest in competition regulation, and practitioners of economics, including competition agency officials and competition economists, it added.
