The officials, sitting in the control room in the university, will monitor the entire examination proceedings through the cameras.
The new system, inaugurated by vice-chancellor, G James Pitchai, would ensure the benchmarck of quality in conducting the tests, in an infallible manner and also prevent all sorts of malpractices in the examination halls and the Centres, university sources said.
About 9,800 candidates had registered for the examination in 48 subjects for the test to determine eligibility of candidates for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship.
