Singer CeeLo Green has been sentenced to 3 year probation and 360 hours community service after pleading no contest to charges relating to a 2012 drug incident.
Green, 39, appeared in an LA court and pleaded no contest to the felony charge against him relating to an incident in 2012 where a woman accused him of drugging her with MDMA/Ecstasy without her knowledge or consent, reported Ace Showbiz.
Green had initially pleaded not guilty to the charges but changed his plea at the last minute. If Green had maintained his not guilty plea, evidence against him would have been disclosed at a preliminary hearing.
Green, whose real name is Thomas DeCarlo Callaway, was accused of furnishing a woman with an illegal substance. At the time charges of sexual assault were considered but not pursued by the LA District Attorney Office owing to lack of evidence.
Green's legal representative maintains relations between Green and the unnamed woman were consensual.
