A cancer-afflicted child conjures up delicacies at a seven star hotel as the chief chef as 'Make A Wish Foundation' strives to make the one-time dream of the terminally affected children true.
Another boy lords over as the police station cop and the sentries run the errand and barks at the locked up undertrials.
"Let's take a bow to these little angels. Our endeavour remains to make these children feel special," Former Kolkata police commissioner Goutam Mohan Chakroborty, a key member of the city chapter of Global Body, said last evening.
"A child can have many wishes. From simple ones, like swapping role with her teacher to meeting the celebrity figure in her life to a day's out at Disneyland. And there us always this dream to meet one celeb, he/she had always looked forward to. We strive to turn these wishes real as much as we can," a spokesperson said.
Designer Jaya Misra donated an exclusive outfit designed for and sported by Amitabh Bachchan.
"Me as a member of the society, a mom, and as one from the artiste fraternity. We can't mitigate their physical sufferings. We wish (we) could," Aleek Sukh actor Rituparna Sengupta and Ramdhanu actor Rachana Banerjee said while donating their robes for auction to sustain the 'Make a wish flow.'
"Our jugalbandi will do the speaking as words seem inadequate," percussionist Pt Bickram Ghosh and classicist vocalist Ustad Rashid Khan said in a unique duet of Hindustani classical and instrumentation music.
