"The present government should ensure that censorship is the final law. If that doesn't happen, then the filmmakers would continue to be soft targets," Johar said addressing delegates at the NFDC Film Bazaar on the sidelines of the ongoing International Film Festival of India (IFFI) here.
"Responsibility is a critical thing. In the given scenario we have to be a lot responsible. As a young filmmaker I was less responsible. I used to put out a film and apologise for it," he said.
"I am still fighting the case for 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham' for last 14 years," Johar said.
