Press Trust of India Srinagar Centaur Hotel management today said it has revoked the suspension of three employees after they submitted a written apology and denied any "highhandedness".
It said action as per rules was initiated against four of its employees who were involved in "misconduct" on the premises here.
"There is no truth in the allegations.... We have taken action as per rules against four employees who were involved in misconduct within the premises," Ishtiaq Hussain Khan, General Manager of the hotel - an Air India subsidiary, told PTI here.
Centaur Hotel Employees Union (CHEU) yesterday threatened agitation next week in protest against what it called "highhandedness" and "anti-labour attitude" of the management.
"We have suspended three employees after they were caught gambling within the premises and served chargesheet against another," Khan said adding "we have taken a sympathetic view of the suspension case and revoked the order after the employees submitted a written apology and also gave an assurance in person that they will not do such a thing in the premises again.
