At a review meeting held here to assess the impact of demonetisation on general public, particularly in rural areas, Deputy Secretary of Urban Development M Janaki asked the bank officials to take steps to make available Rs 100 and Rs 2,000 notes to the public without any problem.
According to official sources, she said that feedback from the representatives of a cross section of society, including farmers associations, industry associations, SME, Trade bodies and common man on the scrapping of the Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes, will be compiled and a report would be submitted to the government.
