"We are at work to ensure prosperity of the farmers for which a number of schemes have been launched to push growth of agriculture and allied sectors," Singh told a seminar organized by the 'National Bee Board and Agriculture and Cooperative Department' at Gandhi Maidan here.
Stating that the farm sector's growth was imperative for overall development and prosperity of the people, Singh said he would like to bring prosperity of Gujarat to the rest of the country to fulfil Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a prosperous India.
He said that the Centre has best interests of the farmers, rural youths, tribals, marginal farmers, landless people and labourers in mind for which a slew of schemes have been launched to generate employment opportunities for them.
Singh also emphasized on bee farming as a productive work and said Bee Boards have been set in the states too to generate employment for rural people.
